Bean bags
« on: July 06, 2009, 04:00:57 PM »

Hi

Does anyone know where I can get a large bean bag cover which is a leather look material rather than the hard scratchy fabric ones? I have loved sitting in it on our balcony and want to take one home!

Thanks

Foodie

Try getting one from Osman at the new furnishing shop, Vinaldi Concept, just up the Kalamar road on the right (opposite Aykan Properties).

For a very wide range of upholstery, sun bedcovers, bean bags and covers etc we always use Aysel, who has sonmez (soft furnishing) workshop . Her workshop is at the bus station.  We have found her to be at least a third cheaper than anybody else in Kalkan.

Particularly good is her non fade outdoor material. Our cushion covers, loungers etc are now in their third summer and the colour has not changed at all.

They also offer a sun umbrella renewal service. They will repair broken umbrellas and replace the covers. Much less expensive than buying new umbrellas.

She doesn''t speak much English but she has a ''phone a friend service'' and immediately calls an English speaking friend when customers arrive.

Sounds good, I remember when we went to the garden centre by the roundabout that offered a "phone a friend" service - really nice touch - our pot plants are still going strong!
