Villa Güzel - A delightful luxury villa, in a select position on a peaceful hillside, with wonderful views over the picturesque, sophisticated resort of Kalkan.

The villa has been recently built to an extremely high standard with antique marbled floors, featuring limestone walls internally and spiral staircases to the main bedrooms.

The private fresh water swimming pool is larger than normal and is serviced daily. the terrace is spacious and well equipped with sun loungers and tabling to seat eight, for meals to be enjoyed outside under the pergola.

The villa is tastefully furnished and decorated, with air conditioning to provide comfort throughout the villa. The spacious open plan lounge features a TV/DVD a stone fireplace and french doors which open onto the large terrace and private swimming pool. The dining area seats six and the kitchen is well equipped with large fridge/freezer, electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, washing machine and ample ancillary kitchen items.

The main double bedroom has access from both spiral staircases with en suite shower room, and an extremely large balcony (perfect for that pre dinner tipple) with views overlooking Kalkan bay. The first floor bedroom has twin beds and is approached by the towers spiral staircase, and has an en suite bath/shower room and large balcony, again with a great view. The ground floor double bedroom has an en suite bath/shower room and direct access to the terrace.

Area description

Kalkan, described as Turkeys best kept secret, is a small, sophisticated resort set on the Turkish Mediterranean Riviera. The town nestles on the foot of the Taurus mountains and was once a small fishing village, it is now a charming holiday resort consisting of cobbled streets, housing interesting shops selling jewellery, carpets and local goods. One can enjoy bartering with the shopkeepers and their hospitality offering of apple tea.

Visit the small pebbled beach close by the harbour or the local beach clubs and enjoy the water sports available, such as snorkeling, scuba diving and wind surfing.

Price Includes

Villa utilities and services as described.
A Daily maid service is provided with the bed linen and
towels changed twice weekly. (beach & sun towels are not provided).
Welcome pack on arrival including milk, butter, cheese, bread, tea and coffee.
All villa guests can use the facilities at the upmarket Asfiya Hotel.
Free transfer from Asfiya to the Yaly Beach Club.

Price Excludes

Air flight fares, airport transfers, car hire (advice given on request).
A Mobile Phone for guests, can be supplied if required, charge of 21 million Turkish Lira for credit only.
All holiday insurances to cover your holiday and cancellations, personal accident and liability insurance.


Bookings.

On signed acceptance of your booking, a non-refundable deposit of one third of the total hire fee is required. The remaining balance is due and required eight weeks prior to the departure date.

Due to the hillside location, the spiral staircases (only one bedroom has ground floor access), and the deep swimming pool that has no shallow end, the villa is not suitable for young non-swimmers and the infirm.

Transport  & Transfers

Hire a car or join a local excursion to visit one of the many historical ancient sites such as Patara, Xanthos, Tios, a trip to the Taurus mountains or the amazing Saklikent Gorge.

Enjoy mountain walks, climbing, trekking, caving and parascending, have a relaxing Turkish bath or massage to ease away the aches and pains.

Transfers
A car is not necessary.
We recommend and can arrange transfer from Dalaman or Antalya airports direct to the villa by air conditioned vehicle as follows :

Dalaman Car 1/3 people £55 Minibus 4/7 £65   Minibus 8/14 £80  (each way).
Antalya Car   1/3 people £95 Minibus 4/7 £105 Minibus 8/14 £115 (each way).

Taxis are relatively cheap and readily available to and from the villa. Hire a car locally, from £20 a day. Dolmus buses operate between Kalkan and local beaches and towns. Local excursions are available to many interesting and historic sites.
