Villa Doruk /Villa Sena

Hi there,
Am considering one of these two villas but just wondering if anyone knows where they might be located in relation to the town, restaurants, shops etc. It says 500 mtrs from Town but wanted to check if anyone might be able to help. I know they are quite newly built.

Oh dear- looks like no one knows these villas. I am new to this site so perhaps I didn't give enough information to enable people to pinpoint the location> If anyone could help, I would be really grateful

These are on the tapestry collection brochure and the website is http://www.tapestryholidays.com/description/property/description/villa-doruk-kalkan.html
They have some lovely properties but we really want to be in the town so that limits us.

All other tips re Kalkan would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know these villas - but the Doruk looks fab! if you give the people at Tapestry a call they will help - we deal with them and are traveling with them again this time. I asked dozens of questions last year - booked the same house this year - and if the office guys don't know, I've found they'll chat to the local reps and get back to you ...

The forum here is full of fantastic information - we visited Kalkan last year for the first time, this forum and the Kalkan Local News website was invaluable ...

Thanks Lorilou, We went ahead and booked with Tapestry. It will be our first time to Kalkan. Very excited indeed. Everyone on here seems to rave about it!!! Only 2 weeks to go!! Thanks again for your help.

Great news! I'm sure the Villa will be a gorgeous base - but do peel yourselves off your poolside sunbed and explore, you'll discover that Kalkan isn't just about the sunshine...

We'll be there same time as you ... though we'll be hard to spot - just another couple pottering about with silly smiles on our faces ...

I know exactly where Villa Doruk is, brilliant position on the edge of the old town, I would be surprised if it is 500 m to the Merkez Cafe, nearer 300 m I would think.  The villa is on the street behind Iso's Cafe, below the Kas Road.  We walked round it when it was nearly finished in May and were told it was being marketed by Tapestry.

Thanks Anne- it's reassuring to hear that the loaction is good from someone who knows!! You know the way the descriptions can sometimes be a little economical with the truth especially where distances are concerned!!!
Lorilou, just a week till you head off now you lucky thing- the weather is looking a little dodgy for when we arrive but hoping that that won't come to fruition!!

would take any forecast by accu weather with a huge pinch of salt. They seem to be ok for a couple of days in advance but anything longer than that.........
Anyway I'm off to Kalkan on the 8th of October and can confidently predict that whatever the weather I'm going to be in Paradise

Well said indeed, itstime!!! My sister got married 2 weeks ago and accuweather predicted two days beforehand that there would be showers all day- there were blue skies all day and we even got a little sunburnt!!
