Cookery Lessons
« on: January 20, 2008, 12:24:13 PM »
I have just been reading about cookery lessons in Istanbul - www.cookingalaturka.com and wondered if anyone knows of any classes around Kalkan - whilst its good to have recipes for Turkish food its not the same as seeing it being made and then trying it yourself.

Cheers.

Contact Huseyin at Guru Restaurant just outside Kalkan enroute to Kas, next door to Adems, his mother will give them but on a small scale.  Oh and she is one good cook.  We were discussing this at Christmas.

I am sure there is a farm/guest house in Islamlar that does cookery courses. Perhaps someone else can remember what it is called and the details?

That''s the one, I remember looking at their website and think it looked beautiful. You cook and eat their home grown fruit and veggies, yummmy.
