For those of you getting withdrawl symptoms.... Nigel Slater is on BBC2 tonight at 21.00hrs he is in Istanbul and Central Anatolia . Might pass an hour? ;)

I watched this on BBCiPlayer this morning at about 5am. I’m in Kalkan. Are you jealous Blue Lizard. Sorry!
I like Nigel Slater. He is a cook, not a pretentious chef.
I enjoyed the programme. It was good to see the parts of Turkey that we have visited.

Of course!! I am green with envy!freezing cold, lashing down with rain and the Boilers been broken !(500 Quid to mend it but its done now) Like you I much prefer enthusiastic cooks who cook proper food rather than namby pamby arty farty concoctions...and chefs that are rude to people get my back up nearly as much as central heating Plumbers! >:D
