Visa question.
« on: July 15, 2009, 11:11:11 AM »
We visited Kalkan in June and of course bought the ten pound visas on entry. Just wondering will we have to buy two new ones if we decide to return in August or are they valid for a certain length of time. Many thanks!

They are valid for 90 days from the day of arrival up until the day you depart - irrespective of the number of visits you make.
Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.

Thanks Turkeyfan for the advice. How do they know at the airport that you've bought one within the time limit, do they just go by the passport stamp? Sorry for sounding a bit dim!

Yep, the visa is stamped on entry and exit to Turkey, so they know exactly when it was issued!
