Boat Hire

Hi,

It is our first time in Kalkan and we are coming in the summer. I want to hire a boat for a
couple of days - large Motor Boat with skipper. Has anyone got any contacts or ideas !!.

We have been quoted between £110.00 and £140.00 for a day on a boat Private hire for 7/8 people.

Last year we hired one of the "Romantic" boats, 8 people and including a very good lunch, for £125.

Thanks, where did you get the details of the boat hire or just pop down to the harbour ?.

We have always booked directly with the owner/captain. Just go down to the harbour after about 6:00pm and you will beable to view the boats and discuss availabiity and prices. You could probably haggle over the price, although to date I haven''t bothered as quoted price has always been very reasonable.

Some boats get very busy, last year in August we thought we would jsut leave it and book the day before only to find there was nothing left.

If you cannot reserve before arriving here, then I suggest you go to the harbor as soon as possible after arriving to make a reservation because as said below some boats are booked well in advance.  We have already made all our August boat bookings and were not able to get the boat we wanted for the day in July that we wanted.
