I''ll be coming out to Kalkan on June 5th, staying for 10 days. During that time there will be 3 British Lions games. I know from past experience that Football is shown in bars around the town, but does anyone know if any particular bar, hotel will show rugby?

Never seen Rugby on the TV''s in the bars...maybe its because most people prefer a game of skill

There''s nothing wrong with these footy fans that can''t be sorted with a straight arm tackle from Martin Johnson.
Can''t swear to it Growler but I reckon the best bet will be the Swan next to the Yali, that''s where I''ll be looking to catch them

PS- well done Tigers, one under the belt, hopefully get the double on Saturday.

Hi Growler,

Go past the taxi rank and go straight up the hill, the Swan is about 200 yards on the left after the roundabout, you can''t miss it.
Must check the dates of the games, I''m out on the 1st June.

I fly out on the 8th on june so will catch the second england footy match too. so i take it the swan is the place to be for the rugby and the footy. Does anyone know about the super league games out there and do bars have setanta for the david haye boxing

I arrive on the 5th, so hope to see 3 games while I''m there (and my partner permitting!). For those interested, they are:

6/6 v Free State Cheetahs (4pm)
10/6 v Sharks (8.10pm)
13/6 v Western Province (4pm)
All times are local.

Guess I''ll see you all in the Swan (look out for the guy who bears a strong resemblance to John Major. I used to be mistaken for Richard Gere, but I got older and he didn''t!).

2 years ago during the Rugby World cup, you footy fans may remember England got to the final for the third time! How many times has the football team been there? Most of the bars showed the rugby including the Moonlight Bar both indoors and out doors.

Your right they were and the owner was decorating the place so we watched the paint dry it was more entertaining
