BL, the Mozzie Van is about but we don't seem to see or hear it as often as we used to, some friends have said they haven't seen it at all in their area so far. The mozzies themselves are biting but so far they don't seem so bad where we are, maybe the colder winter has slowed them down. The olive flies certainly are about & chomping.

As far as I am aware we have seen no sign of it in Kalamar or the guys on foot

Maybe it is a Kas cut back  ;D

We did actually see it at Easter, just on the roadside, but not sure it was in operation then! I have to say I got bitten really badly in our garden last year 2 days before going to Kalkan, and they were agony, far worse than ever I have been bitten over there.  Hopefully won't be a repeat occurrence pre holiday this year!

I have noticed that the Mossies are getting blonder and smaller. Maybe they are just young ones and will get darker and bigger but, the one I zapped last night was almost white and very small. It was sitting on a white voile curtain and almost invisible. Are they adapting like chameleons?

Two guys were spraying here in Kisiltas on Friday. Well I didn't actually see them spray as they were sat in the shade most of the afternoon.

RThe Mossie lorry went by one night whilst we was out there 2 weeks ago. We all managed to get a few bites eve with all the sprays on. Not sure if  the head ones were the olive flies but most of us were going around "scratching" I also got one on the  cheek, ears and eye, places where I had not sprayed :(

Been home a week now and they are just going :)

The worst year for mozzie bites ever. Despite spraying all sorts of stuff. They even got my nose and ears. With it being so quiet, I did notice more stagnant pools, full of algae, which I gather is what these beasts like?  Before we left Kalkan yesterady we thought we heard the noise of the sprayer going around in front of the villa, towards the Kalamar Road,  where the derelict Chinese Restaurant is, which was the first time we had heard spraying since arriving 19th June. (Doesn't mean to say they were not doing it, just we hadn't heard it).

We were there a few weeks ago and didn't get one bite, usually İ am a mossie magnet. We are in the Old Town so don't know about other areas. We sprayed and use plug ins, also we don't leave windows open at night.

We've had endless bites in the last 2 weeks, mostly outside despite spraying ourselves and closing doors before dusk, we have mosi nets on the windows.

The lack of spraying has definitely had a bad result for us, having had more bites this visit than in the last dozen times. In all our visits over the last few years we have seen and heard the vehicle with the spray on it regularly but we haven't seen it once this year. So far the Kas administration aren't doing it for us!
