Weather....

Hi all, to anyone who is currently in Kalkan - what's the weather doing?  We're flying out tomorrow and just want to check I've packed the right sort of clothes for the baby!  Thanks xx

Are you sure you really want the honest answer! Im afraid today has been raining and windy however its not cold, tomorrow the weather is meant to be rain again in the morning but brighter in the afternoon.

Electricity is a bit hit and miss also. However on the plus side there is a really nice atmosphere in Kalkan at the moment and it can only get better.

   Woke up this morning to a VERY heavy frost.
   This next week the forcast here is for below freezing at night and maybe the odd snow flurry!!
   Storms and no electricity still sound a better option so clicking the heels on my red shoes and wishing i was back
   in Kalkan!!!

We have just come back from Kalkan and for the first time had really cool spots! rain and lovely sunshine but very unpredictable! Also the town seemed to be shutting down around us? Even before the half term has started here! Surely there must be an influx of tourists around this time. I feel it may be Thomas Cooks Fault for stopping the flights all year! All the ones I went on in winter were full so it seemed a little odd?

Returned yesterday on a horrible Turbulent flight and as said the weather last week was very mixed and at times quite cold and there was also a spectacular storm on Friday night but it was still kalkan and on stormy days we just do different things like a turkish bath or a shave and some spa pampering for the ladies. We also chose restaurants with inside areas. My partner is still there for this week and tells me there are storms forcast for today and tomorrow will be overcast and not very promising for the rest of the week. I'd still rather be there than here.
