Pay as you go SIM for a blackberry

Where can I buy a SIM for my blackberry when in Kalkan please.

Not sure if UK phone will work with Turkish Sim card or for how long for?....Baris at the top of the village opposite side to taxi rank by road spikes (small shop)..he will put you right...we have a cheap turkish phone we just top up

My iphone does not work with Turkish Sim cards, and your Blackberry will probably not either. Buy yourself a cheap PAYG phone from say Tesco's and pop to the shop Blue Lizard suggested and get a Turkish Sim.

My Blackberry 8900 seems to be fine with a Turkish Sim providing you remember to turn off data services, it works fine for calls and texts but not MMS

Thanks for the info, guess the 3G connections not so good in Kalkan which will effect the data side.

Its not that, if you swap your sim with data services on your Blackberry will try and re-register with the BIS (Blackberry Internet Server) or BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) depending if you are a personal or corporate user..... either way, it will wipe it and send down new settings!
