Trying something new
« on: August 10, 2013, 12:13:23 PM »
Having had that great feeling all day of travelling to Kalkan, we finally arrived at apartment at 6pm,  then quick change and down to Kleo and Yali yacht point for pre dinners. Then decisions on where to go, looked across the harbour and that was it Indigo beachclub/restaurant/bar sign, a little wander to some of the best fresh food we have ever having Kalkan. Do not go if you want fast service, flashy food and smartly dressed waiters. If you want a lazy meal, chilled out service and groovy music, give it a try. Set menu for 45tl is great value and this place does have to best view in Kalkan it is the front line spot! Beach club has had a makeover and looks good, not been there yet as now at Palm enjoying our first day in the sun, I feel an Efes calling........

Oh, wow, Scotsinkalkan, what a great suggestion! Yes, I remember the music was cool in there a couple of years ago, when we went down from the Mediteran to use the Beach Club / Jet Skis. Ollie and Beth are really keen to go out on some again, so I think you may have just suggested an excellent little bolt hole for their sport and dinner this September. Thanks a lot and keep us posted with more gem ideas!
Cheers,
Antler
