« on: June 09, 2015, 12:22:28 PM »
Hi all

Just wanted to introduce myself, I have been to Kalkan 4 times and returning on the 19th of June (soooooooooooooo excited).  I love Kalkan with a passion as does my husband, its the only place we have returned back to.
I am addicted to this site I read it every day but just plucked up the courage to become a member.
I love reading the holidays reports and hopefully I will type a few words when we arrive on the 19th.
Bye for now Tracy x

Hi Tracy
Welcome to the forum. Like you, Kalkan is the only place we have been back to.

I hope you have a fantastic holiday and I can vouch for what  Lizilu20 says about them all being a friendly bunch on here.
I even had the pleasure of meeting up with a few members on our first visit.

You will be all tanned up by the time  we arrive.

Hope you find the time to post a report or two, or three, or four……….

Thanks everyone

I will try my hardest to post reports sipping a G&T ha ha especially now that Kalkan has slimline tonic in the supermarkets,
just means I can eat more of the beautiful Turkish food.
8 days to go yippeeee, suitcases are out of the loft the countdown begins.

Welcome to the forum! It's great that you decided to take the plunge and join in with some of the conversations.
As you will have spotted  there are a few of us that are desparate for any tiny little morsel of news from the 'happiest place on earth' - forget Disney...Kalkan is where its at!

So, which bits os Kalkan are you most looking to revisit?

Thanks Haybo

We have just started a house extention today so this holiday cant come quick enough 4 days to go (woop woop)

I love our first night walking into town stopping at moonlight for a G&T and people watching ( I remember my first visit to
Kalkan in killer heels) learnt a very quick lesson flats or wedges only.

We love Palm beach club chilling out all day doing very little a few dips in the sea lunch wine heaven !!!!!!!!!!!

I love looking around the shops after we have eaten especially the bag shops ( my hubby grumps at every shop)

We are going to try Patara beach this year as never been so looking forward to that.

Most of all we are looking forward to eating in  lovely restaurants every night cant wait.

Tracy x
