Help wanted please!

My husband and I are looking at moving to Kalkan permanently in July 2011.  We are so excited about it but as its getting nearer and nearer, I seem to have the jitters about it!  Ten years ago we left South Africa to come to the UK and did it with ease.  Perhaps being 10 years older, this time seems a little more daunting, although we so want to live in Kalkan.
 
The help I need is the following:  Have any of you out there done what we are about to do.  Sold your house in the UK, sold all your furniture and merely arriving in Turkey with your clothes and a few personal items....and then regretted it?  Have you???
 
Secondly, I have heard that bringing your furniture into Turkey is apparently a nightmare? Is this correct?
 
Because of my insecurities at the moment, my husband and I did a Pro's and Con's list this morning and the Pro's far outweighed the Con's.  Would love to hear your stories about leaving the UK for beautiful Kalkan.

there used to be something on the site called "Busters Blog" - I'm not sure where to locate that these days, but if someone can point you in the right direction, it may help - or Buster may PM you if he sees this post.
