I'm sure the tour companies will not be ignorant of the discrepancies of the new visa and would not expect their customers to be hassled for fines for making an innocent mistake. This has probably already been dealt with by those that know more than we do. I would be surprised if the travel agents get caught out by this.

Thanks for the advice everyone.....so, sorry to be dim, when we arrive in Istanbul we go straight to passport control and show last month's visa....even though it already has in and out stamps on it?

Our friends over stayed their Visa last year (the old style) and were fined...they were only over by about 2 hours, the fine was £150!

We have so many visa stamps in our passports that they struggle to find the correct visa to stamp. This year we will end up with 3 entry & 3 exit stamps for the same visa so this time I put a thin 'post it' on the correct visa page so it stuck out of the top of the page. Passport control seemed to appreciate it.
