Boat Trips - Couldn't Resist!!!

Missing Kalkan so much, and I just couldn't resist, even though I was determined not to until we get there this year, but have gone and booked 2 boat trips for August! Now we are definitely on count down! Wanted to book 4 but OH will freak out, so will wait a while longer before booking any more 

Who else has a favourite boat and if so why, and also books from the UK, or do you prefer to just book when you arrive?

Well you're there for so long Jayne that you have to break it up some how!! 
Our favourite boat is Moby Dick......mind you we don't really have very wide experience as have only been on a couple of others! Moby Dick is not the smartest boat but the food is great and Denis is a gem.....and if you get lucky and Kemal is on the boat then that's the icing on the cake, such a lovely and interesting man.
Now we go in October we book once we get there.....usually a first night job. If we were going at a busier time we would book ahead.

Just returned home. Had 2 great boat trips (Yildiz 2 and Pina-X). It's so quiet in Kalkan currently I hope your advance bookings give them a bit of confidence for the season. We had to wait until the boats had enough passengers before they would commit to go out.

Oh Jayne I'm sure you can manage more than 2 in the amount of time you're there! I was only there for 8 days last week and managed 2 in that time ( the sea was ice cold but it was still lovely)! Sneak a few more in and hopefully Bob will forget

We always book in advance, even if it's just the two of us. We've been on a few diffferent ones over the years but Yildiz boats are our favourite.

I've got A Yildiz BBQ night and day trip booked for my July trip - will book the August ones when I'm on board!  I like Yildiz 3 the best....bizarrely I find the beds easier to get on and off!!

I know what you mean about the beds.  , another blog coming on then Haybo?? We have booked Yildez 2 and Pina X so far, but will book with Adam on Yildez 3 when we are there, also working on Kekova too, and we have booked a 2 night stay on Meis this year, so that counts as a boat trip too, so excited about that

Yes Jayne, Thelma and Louise will be hitting town once more and there may well be a blog as a result!  6 weeks on Friday!  WE have already booked a Turkish Bath, 2 boat trips and the cocktail making class at Black & Gold ..... thought this was supposed to be a rest!

Sounds like a good itenerary so far haybo. I know what you mean about ease of alighting from sunbeds on boats. I find gin and tonics give me a bit of a boost  I can't cope with the top deck ones. I look like a dying fly with my arthritic knees.

Haybo sounds like you've got lots planned already  6 weeks will be hear before you know it.

Then again, you could lounge at the back, pretending you own the boat. (Cigars, Cristal champagne and other accessories, optional)

The cocktail making could get messy - as you know , i'm not much of a drinker, so if I sample my creations it could be an erly niht for me!
