boat trips

can anyone recommend any good boat trips, we go to kalkan in 2 weeks and there are 10 of us, we don't like the huge boats full of people just a nice small boat for say 15 people, also what is the rough cost for a boat trip from kalkan ?

With so many of you travelling, you'll probably be able to charter a boat for yourselves. We love Moby Dick, deniz is lovely and the food is great. I'm sure he'll do you a deal for all of you. A shared boat is roughly 40 lira each and that includes, lunch and afternoon tea with friut and cakes. you pay for your drinks on top but not expensive. We paid 50 lira for 4 of us for a private charter but it was early season.

Hi, we had a fabulous day out with Yildiz2, it only holds 12 people and is captained by Osman and his wife , who cooks an exceelent lunch, we paid 40 lira each and as i say it includes lunch, a drink as you set sail and in the afternoon, fresh fruit and tea/coffee and cakes.

Allow plenty of notice, too, as the earliest I could get on Yildiz II just now was next Thursday, so best to book in advance with the larger number.

It's great that you can book by e-mail before you get there, though.
