Fethiye Harbour
« on: May 30, 2016, 07:26:48 PM »
Hi everyone. This year will be our 3rd holiday to Kalkan. We would like to visit friends on Rhodes and stay overnight during our 2 week stay. We have a hire car and have priced the ferry but not booked yet. Does anyone have any advice on car parking near the harbour in Fethiye that will allow us to leave the car overnight (2 days parking). It has been 5 years since our last holiday in Kalkan so I guess we may see some changes. Roll on August!! Any advice appreciated.

There is a fee paying car park, secured, just down from the PTT on the same side. Not sure of the rates now but have used it ourselves . Within a short walking distance of where the Rhodes ferry is. And yes you will see many changes in & around Kalkan.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare anywhere near the ferry terminal. There was news last week that the street parking charges have been abolished, but subsequent info suggests otherwise. What about parking in the road near the Otogar and then jump in a taxi. (which is next door to the Otogar.)
You might be lucky to get a spot near the ferry if you are there early, otherwise you have little chance.
