Town Beach
« on: May 18, 2011, 03:35:37 PM »
Can someone tell me what has happened to the town beach. Have just been getting my fix on the ktln webcams and I spotted lots of what looks like those dinky straw parasols on the beach. Am I seeing things? Have the multi coloured umbrellas been replaced? Maybe someone could now lessen the steep drop when you get in/out of the sea and replace the stones with sand....oh no wait...where would be the fun in that, all the entertainment value of watching people struggle in and out of the sea would be gone! >:D

Yep I am one of those people trying despeartely not to be spotted rolling in or out of the water like a beached whale. Only thing they need down there now are some sunbeds that don't break your back - those nice springy blue ones would do the trick then it would be very Costa del Sol. ;)

I'm with you on the sunbed issue Chrissy, I love the town beach but my back can only cope with those sunbeds for a couple of hours! I highly recommend those funny little scuba shoes.....they look a bit daft but at least you don't look quite so ungainly getting out of the sea!

Yeah Babs I bought some of them last year after showing myself up for several days and how true B L they do make a noise but hey not as bad as showing your rear end whilst climbing out of the sea. :o

Needs must.....as they say! Still I expect it's easy for a lizard to get out of the sea!
