Hi there

Strange question for a Kalkan lovers forum, but here goes....

We love Kalkan and have made it our summer destination for the last 5 years, every year since our first visit. However, we have decided that this year we want to visit our different country. This is scary for us as we feel like Kalkan has spoilt us and perhaps no where else could live up to Kalkan standards.

So my question for you is, have you ever visited anywhere in Europe that comes close to Kalkan? With:

Plenty of luxury villas with private pools
Wide choice of top quality restaurants
Beautiful beaches nearby

Any recommendations much appreciated!

Have a look at Parga in Greece or anywhere along the Pelponese. You wont get the same sort of value for money that Turkey offers though.

Take a look at the Azores several different islands quite different offering different  interests, some of the scenery stunning.
