Well its the new year now so how many of us are already thinking about our trips to Kalkan...?
153 days until we are in Kalkan, but 151 until we are in Turkey. Having a little Road Trip before settling in Paradise on June 11th. Hoping to see some of you there.
The countdown has officially begun for me now we are in 2018 ;D

There are 164 days till we hit Kalkan for my momentous birthday. I know I'm going on about it but in my own mind I'm only about 25 and can't quite believe that I'm one of the elderly that everyone keeps talking about.
I've put my shawl to one side and am now contemplating whether to grow old disgracefully just because I can.

We arrive 17 June......not sure how many days that is but we are so looking forward to it, as ever! K4E so liking forward to meeting you too......after all we never chat! 😂

We arrive in Kalkan on the 23rd June to start the BIG 70 birthday celebrations. Have booked Smile boat for our initial boat trip then a chef to come to the Villa in the evening and then on the actual day we are going to Aqua and the lovely Yusuf for a meal. Anybody up in Kalamar on the evening of June 29th that's where we will be please pop in and say hello.

Two countdowns for us, 8th May for a sneaky week, then 3rd September for 3 weeks. Happy days in paradise.

I have 2 countdowns - 135 and 211!!! Really can't wait to look out over the bay and the islands!
Joycie - my friends and I will be out from 1 July so would love to buy you a drink!

A mere 58 days....! Almost into the final third now from my original post of 153 days. The time has gone so quickly since January, but will go ever so slowly over the next couple of months and then disappear faster than you can say Efes when we are actually there. Wishing my life away...and also just got a bit more serious about actually fitting into my summer clothes (with a bit of seam protector) if I try really really hard over the next 8 weeks.
Not long for some of you now....next month!

73 days for us. Wow can't wait. First we're going narrow boating to Chester to celebrate Bri's birthday.
Did my visas yesterday and it was very frustrating. Done them before from the KTLN web site but this time the confirmation was taking hours to come through and then of course theyd timed out.
I persevered and hey presto they appeared along with about two dozen confirmations that I didn't need.
The biggest thing that happened to me today was receiving my application from the DVLS to renew my driving licence . It's not me I am not 70 please go away with your form and come back when I'm old enough and ugly enough to fill it in.

31 days for us 😎 but whenever I start count how many days to a holiday everyone else is ill at work and it gets like I’m climbing up a hill to get there xx

Two weeks to go. Time to get out the cases. Then we go back four weeks later! May not even put the cases away between visits. Weather looks great at the moment but cooler for our visit at the beginning of May.

3 days for us then 110days, but not counting(honestly!!)

155 days for us, flying Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. £190 return per person.

Tomorrow, it will be 4 weeks exactly until we have our backsides in those easyJet seats...pre-booked with extra legroom obvs!
The cases came down from the loft last weekend but remained untouched as we basked in those very unseasonal temperatures at home! I can always find something to do in the garden when the weather is as nice as that.
This weekend's job, before the last game of the season for Premier League goers, is to wade through the cases and see what's what!
Those 4 weeks will go as slow as the Brexit negotations, but there's a couple of blogs already on the go to keep me entertained.

I’ll raise this topic from the dead, 4 and a bit days until we take off at 6:50 (hopefully) on Friday morning. Been a tough old year and looking forward to seeing the place again. Getting my clothes out for inspection before packing and so much doesn’t fit, well I have lost 4” off my waist, so it’s off to sort some new shorts & tee shirts. My appetite is coming back so hopefully will be able to enjoy all those lovely meals and seeing old “friends”.
