Can you still get sterling at ATM since 'using Turkish currency'  has become the edict from government here ?

Yes you can get sterling through a number of cash machines in Kalkan, no change. The exchange rate is still very attractive too, better rate in the banks but sometime a long wait, so shops/cafes very popular for money changing.

I always use TEB bank to withdraw sterling notes. My bank in UK - Barclays does not make a charge.

Am home now but got sterling from Akbank ATM near Akin when I needed it.
