Title: Rate of Exchange

What rate are the shops etc giving for sterling at the moment?
We are visiting for the first 2 weeks in October & we are trying to decide how to bring our spending money!

We purchased our Turkish lira in the UK when the exchange rate peaked at just over 8tl to the £.Have to say that we normally bring £ stirling  and exchange in Kalkan. We have always enjoyed better rates doing it this way. I understand that the current exchange rate in Kalkan is approximately 7tl to the £. You may want to bring a bit of lira to tide you over.
