Very grey and cool in central London, but made better by the fact that there is a military band playing some very stirring stuff outside my office window. Some things I will miss about London, others less so.
Two weeks until touchdown in Turkey!!!!

Same just outside Manchester, rain and cool. :( :(But we arrvive in Kalkan in just over 2 weeks for the first time. Roll on the 7 July. :) :D

Weather has been ok in Taffy land but the midges tonight reminded me of Kalkan!

It''s sometimes difficult to check what the actual temperature is at the time of course but I''m with Jon on this one; you really could have fried an egg on the pool surround today; blistering. I''m back in August and I haven''t a clue how I''ll stand it. Guess the Efes will take a pounding AGAIN!!! hahaha Bill

This week last year the temperature was in the 100''s if I remember correctly. It cooled down to just very hot when we arrived at the end of June.

If you look on the bbc site the forcast is for mid 90''s (36) and in Kalkan it is 40, last year in June it was closer to 50 so a bit cooler but still very hot.

we came back on yesterday after two weeks of glorious heat it was 42degrees on thursday now i''m back to the rainy cold weather in Liverpool.

is the weather hot and humid or is it a dry heat?
