Does anyone know of anywhere in either Kalkan or cash that sells artwork or photos? Porcini up on Kalamar road has a few framed photos for sale but is there anywhere else?

Out at Adam's Restaurant he has some artwork by an English artist for sale.

There used to be a gallery/culture centre just before  the PTT on the left , I think it is still there , they do art exhibitions   and you can buy some of the works ,  also lots of the trinket shops have works of art painted by locals,  cannot verify is they are real though,   as many look the same  in quite a few of the shops !   i.e may be re prints !

There is a shop under the Kosk restaurant which does artwork.  They have lots of gourds which have been hand punched into patterns making very nice lights and inside there are lots of paintings by the owners, some are quite stunning, she specialises in marbled effect - think that's what it is called, so not the standard photo or picture.  Then there is the gallery just above the harbour near the Doy doy  which does glass, metal work and also has a lot of artwork.

Just Living (part of the Just Silver) has original artwork by Tekin Ada one of the owners in their shop in Kalkan next to Just Silver and also in their large furniture showroom at Yesilkoy, certainly worth a run out to see them.

I second the 'Just Living' shop in Yesilkoy. In addition to some amazing original paintings - some by artists in Kalkan - they bought up hundreds of pieces of artwork (and other decorative items) from some the many hotels in Antalya that were forced to close once the number of Russian visitors dropped.

Also, photographer Ozzy Karagül - who lives in Kalkan and is a partner at Marley's cocktail bar - has some fantastic contemporary photos in his portfolio - you can find him on Facebook.

I have bought from both of the above.
