Asian Gate reopening 👍😋

Asian Gate is reopening in a new location this Saturday with a 'eat all you can buffet ' @ 45tl per person. Call Jawad to book on 0535 842 6998.

The restaurant's new location is above Ilkers stationary shop, opp the taxi rank.

I really hope Jawad & Emine are a massive success this time around. It's a great location, so much better than where they were on the Kalamar Rd. The outside terrace is lovely, great place to eat & people watch plus fab sea views.

Please try to support them if you like a great curry. IMHO Kalkan defo needs more choice restaurant wise 👍😋

......of course Kalkan has an amazing choice of restaurants, so when I said 'choice restaurant wise' I meant 'menu' wise 👍

Good news onelove.......and I wish them well for the new season..Although I haven't been there,i understand Bread and More were doing an indian buffet on a Friday night and presume that they will pick up where they left off in 2017.

So,maybe a little more competition for indian cuisine........good luck to " Asian Garry " on Saturday when they re open.

Was it not Jawad at bread and more last year?

We missed seeing lovely Emine last year and it will be good to catch up this year. I really hope they do well in their new location. Are they only doing buffet's though? My fussy OH hates buffet style meals, I on the other hand can pile it high!

Mayday1......Jawad was the chef @ Bread & More. 

Liz........Do not fear, Asian Gate will have their Full normal menu in season. The buffet is an 'out of season' thing, so Shaun need not be worried. Albeit, Jawad is considering doing a buffet maybe once a week 'in season'   His thinking is to cater for all budgets.

Will Chinese meals be back on the menu, or just Indian? We loved Asian "Gary" Gate and it will be delightful to have Jawad and Emine return to Kalkan with a fresh start. I'm assuming it is where Deniz had Seaport in 2015?

Jawad has dropped the Chinese menu. It was too expensive having two chefs plus Chinese
was only amounting to 10% of total sales.... ie : Indian 90%.

Yes, Asian Gate is now where Seaport was after the harbour fire 🔥  of 2015

Ah yes onelove.....now you mention it,i do remember conversations that said Jawad had moved on to Bread and more....do you know if they will continue to offer indian food without him...........but even if they do,it should be no competition for Jawad
