Weather - 27th July - 10th August

1st holiday in Turkey for my BH and me, everyone tells me that the weather will be very hot in Kalkan which I don''t mind as there is always a nice cool pool and sunshades.  People have told me that there is a nice breeze which takes the edge of the heat - is this true?  Also in the restaurants, can you get king prawns on the menu?

Hi Leigh,
I think the breeze depends on where you are located. We hired a villa very close to the green school for the first two weeks of last August, and the breeze was non-existent, so pool and parasols were lifesavers.  The only time we had a cooling breeze was a day out sailing to Kekova.
