think its fairly safe to say it will be hot, Griffo63 :) even so far as very hot...!
We were there in July/August last year and it was incredibly hot and humid. Its hot but not unbearably hot - be prepared to sweat a bit and not be able to lie out in the sun between 11am and 3pm.
Three tips:-
Buy yourself a water hammock - amazon have them for about £35 they fold away and are light enough to pack in your suitcase. An absolute godsend in July and August.
Drink lots of water during the day
If your hair doesn't like humidity be prepared for unruly, unmanageable hair. If you are male and hair isn't your thing, your other half needs to be prepared for unruly, unmanageable hair and you need to be prepared for the backlash :o
Kalkan is gorgeous anytime of year and our first visit was in August and we've been back every year since :)
Have a great time.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Me too, after washing, conditioning, straightening my hair every nite I can still end up looking like i have a curly perm by the end of the night - still who cares after a few cocktails!  ;)

Hi  Griffo63, if you search for weatherunderground Anatalya it has an almanac and will give you a weather history of the area.

no need to check.....it will be HOT! until last year we always went in August....but of course the upside is that the sea is so beautiful!
agree with kalkan4eva though.....no matter how gorgeous I looked before I went out in the evening (?!) by the time we were sitting in our carefully selected beautiful rooftop restaurant my hair had grown twice the size and my make up was dripping off my chin (and that was just mascara!)
but I wouldn't miss it for the world!
