Thanks Bob and Jayne. It's a date then, 13th August at midtown. What time do you all fancy? Would you prefer to meet before or after dinner? I believe that the music doesn't start until quite late, is that right Martyn? 

Well, the music night proper starts at around 21:45, but there's no reason why you couldn't meet up at around seven for a pre-dinner drinkiepoos and then come back after dinner for the shindig. A lot of people tend to come to the music nights after dinner anyway so we often have people turning up after 11...

Anyway, if you want some music for the earlier meet up as well I'll be happy to play a laid back set for you Or we can just put some background music on. It's up to you guys

Thanks Martyn, I've spoken to a couple of members who will be attending and the general consensus of opinion is to meet after dinner and enjoy drinks and music at the usual time.
We will be there from about 9.30pm but of course anyone who wants to meet earlier are more than welcome. Very much looking forward to going to midtown and meeting Martyn and other EK members. Should be a fab night.

Ok... If you are coming for the music night proper it would be good if you let me know your preferences music wise.

Any specific requests? Bear in mind the limitations of a three piece band, two of whom are Turkish and don't necessarily know a lot of the tunes we all grew up with . With that in mind I can't guarantee that every request will be catered for but at least we can try and please some, if not all...

We have very wide musical tastes and are happy with most genres, now our girls would love to hear a bit of "one direction" but we would rather not!!!

Martyn we thoroughly enjoyed the evening 2 weeks ago at Midtown so whatever you play am sure everyone will enjoy.

Good to be able to put faces to names.
